Movado's Museum Watch was designed by Nathan George Horwitt in 1947 and is permanently held in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York — the only watch dial to receive that honor. The dial's iconic minimal design features a single gold dot at 12 o'clock representing the sun at high noon, with no other markers, numerals, or branding to interrupt the clean black surface. The 40mm stainless steel case houses a Swiss quartz movement under a sapphire crystal. As much a piece of design history as a watch.
