Movado Museum Classic Watch was designed by Nathan George Horwitt in 1947 and is permanently held in the design collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York — the only watch dial to receive that honor. The iconic black dial with a single gold dot at 12 o'clock represents the sun at high noon, with no markers, numerals, or branding to interrupt the clean surface. The 40mm stainless steel case houses Swiss quartz movement under a sapphire crystal. As much a piece of design history as a working watch.
